Great product! Works on the windshield too! : Kensington Dash Car Mount for iPhone and iPod
Over all I love this dash mount. Its exactly what I was looking for. I any way came over a question with the
Adjustable side clamps. Clamps do not open when my phone is in it. Once I take my phone out and push release button the clamps open very slowly. When I first opened this product I tested the button and the clamps released nice and smooth. But I guess they were poorly manufactured. It did not even last a day. I still use the mount. I just leave the clamps not to tight/loose so that I can lift/drop the phone into the clamps. But I am sure after awhile the foam used to hold the phone in place will wear out doing it this way.
On other note if you have a mount(suction disc)on your dash for Gps this mount will attach to that disk.
